Long exposure shot of the launch of a sounding rocket from Poker Flat Research Range in Alaska on Tuesday night, February 21st. The rocket was carrying instruments to study the ionosphere. I am totally amazed that the Canon 1DX-Mk2 was able to capture as much dynamic range as it did in this image.
