Swinging for the fence here. This shot of Mercury just past mid transit during the November 11th, 2019 solar transit is with an 800mm lens with a 2x extender coupled to a 1.4x extender using an extension tube between for a total of 2,240mm. I was lucky to get this shot between clouds with the 50 megapixel Canon 5DSr, and Canon EF800MM plus 2x + 1.4x extenders, f:5.6L IS USM lens, Thousand Oaks OpticalSolar Filter, Really Right Stuff FG-02 fluid gimbal head and tripod.
